My Last Week of High School

     Um. Hello. What even. I'm done with high school... And it's a little strange. My college classes ended the week of May 6th, but I actually ended up working ahead so that I finished a week early. I realized that I probably could've finished two weeks early but I wanted to take pictures for this post, so I restrained myself.

   Here I am! Yippee for sort of having time to write a blog post. XD Fair warning - this is going to be mostly pictures since I don't have a bunch of time to write anything. So as I covered in my last post, I got hired on August 1st and had orientation on August 10th.

My Chick-fil-A Story {part one}

     So... I got a job. Yeah it's sorta insane. I hinted at it over here on TAJ and promised more info. This is the post with all that info. Basically, I'm just going to walk through the process and how I felt/how it went and whatever else pops into my head. This is only going to be a part one, I'll cover the other part later.

A Trip to Laguna Beach

     Hey guys! I'm back with another post... I'm trying to make an effort to have at least some of these not be school-related, but that's basically my entire life right now. School and a bit of church-related stuff. Not complaining a bunch - I enjoy it - but it doesn't make for much variety in the blogging world.

Ireland 2018

     As promised on Friday, this post is going to be about one of the things that made life super busy, especially from June 23 to July 7 - my missions trip to Ireland. Eleven other people and I went for two weeks to both Northern Ireland and Ireland proper (or Ireland-Ireland, as I've often referred to it). 

Theater

     Hey all! I'm loving this new theme. It's really made my drive to keep posting go up a lot. I'm more motivated to sit down and write. So that's good. Be sure to comment and/or shoot me an email. My Baptism

     Guess what guys? One year ago today I was baptized! It was a really fun (cool? Fun doesn't seem exactly right...) experience. And a bit nerve-wracking too. So I thought today I'd just recap how my baptism went/how I remember it. Because I'm not sure if or where I wrote stuff down right afterward, so I had better save some record of my thoughts. ;)

Government Class

     Hi all!! Today I'm going to share about a government class that I just finished. It was challenging, but in a good way, I think. I learned a lot, not just about government, but also about speaking in public and doing projects that weren't necessarily papers.

Gobbler Games 2016

     Happy (late) Thanksgiving everyone! This year was our seventh annual Gobbler Games. We invite family and friends over to hang out, watch football (and play it), eat food and the highlight of the day - play games! But these are no normal games.

Election 2016

     It kinda seems like this whole election cycle has been a crazy one. I think (and I may be wrong) that the majority of both parties would like to start from scratch again. I've been getting rather discouraged about the way our country is heading...

Halloween!!

     Sorry for the late post... I have been super busy the past few days with school and other stuff. I hope to be on time next week. Plus I forgot to count October 31st in my list of Mondays, so I didn't really have a good idea for this post until I realized it was Halloween (four days ago).

New York, New York

     Today I'm going to cover in more detail part of our three-week long trip in July. I wrote an article about our trip at TAJ News Blog a month or so ago, so if you want to check that out, it might put some context on this post. :) Today (as the title says) I'm going to cover our a little less than two day hiatus in New York City.

Hurricane!!

     We're currently in Florida recovering from hurricane Matthew. I don't have time to do a normal post, but I just wanted to say why I'm not posting this week. I will be posting about the trip either next week or the week after - not sure yet. :)
