With a full load of school, 20 plus hours of work a week and other various commitments I don't have loads of freedom. But, when I do have it, I really enjoy reading and practicing my musical instruments. I've been playing piano for fifteen years and violin for almost three.
As far as some history about me - I've had two other jobs in the past: teaching piano and then working at Chick-fil-A. I worked at a Chick-fil-A in California for nine months, and you can read about my Chick-fil-A "journey" (so far) here and here, and then when we moved to Florida I worked at a Chick-fil-A here for about a year and a half and became a trainer. I'm planning on writing all about that experience at some point as well!
My love of music is sort of where this blog's name stems from. Originally, this blog was called Anna's Family Blog, but an eight year old really doesn't name things very well so I changed the name in 2018. As I was trying to figure out what my "niche" would be, I was struggling landing with one thing. So I decided to go with a title that would allow all of my interests in one place, and utilized an amazing word picture involving music (if I do say so myself).
Here's probably the most important fact about me: I'm a Christian. I grew up in a Christian home, by the grace of God, and was saved at a pretty young age. I would love to try and share my testimony in a post at some point - since moving to Florida and being a part of the church here I've grown a lot, so I think I'm a little more clear now when I share my testimony than I used to be. My goal is to do everything for my Savior and to bring Him as much glory as I possibly can.
